According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the New Orleans Pelicans have parted ways with their GM Dell Demps after the team was unsuccessful in finding a trade for franchise cornerstone Anthony Davis. The Pelicans are planning on promoting someone within the organization to become the interim GM. Reports have also stated that the Pelicans are planning on becoming ultra-aggressive in the offseason and fully plan on getting a very high-level executive in the offseason. Sources are also telling ESPN that the Pelican’s ownership became “irate” after seeing Anthony Davis leave the arena before the game was over on Thursday night.
