Going Out In Style: Dwyane Wade drops a triple-double in his final NBA game

Dwyane Wade’s illustrious career officially came to a close Wednesday night after the star guard was subbed out of an NBA for the final time ever. Wade’s team, the Miami Heat, may have lost their final game of the season, but the real story line of the night was the incredible stat line Wade posted in his final NBA game.

The legendary guard scored 25 points, grabbed 11 boards, and dished out 10 assists in the Heat’s 113-94 loss to the Brooklyn Nets. Yes, that’s correct. Wade dropped a triple-double in his final NBA game ever. In what very well could be the most amazing part of the night, Wade received his 10th assist on the night from long time teammate Udonis Haslem.

Reports: Jimmy Butler trade talks involving the Miami Heat have fallen apart

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, trade talks between the Timberwolves and the Heat involving superstar Jimmy Butler have fallen apart.

Talks between the Miami Heat and the Minnesota Timberwolves were reportedly “heating up” to the point where Butler’s medical information was shared with Miami’s front office. The two teams were reportedly preparing to finalize a trade deal, but after thinking it over, Minnesota’s management pushed to receive more in the trade and Miami backed out of the deal.

According to reports released throughout the past several weeks, teams around the league believe that the asking price Minnesota has told them may be to high. While speculation continues to fly around the league, Minnesota’s owner reportedly has informed his front office that despite this trade falling through, their goal should remain the same: find a trade for Jimmy Butler.
