Zion Williamson has been one of the most polarizing players to follow this offseason, with a new story about him and his new-found team, the New Orleans Pelicans, coming out virtually everyday. With all the hype surrounding the young star, you would think he might come out of the gates slowly, adjusting himself to the pace of an NBA game, but that certainly was not the case. Zion showed the basketball world just a taste of his talent during the Pelicans’ first preaseson game of the season, finishing with 16 points, 7 rebounds, 4 steals, and 3 assists against a youthful Atlanta Hawks squad. Breaking: Zion finally announces his decision

According to a video posted on the player’s Instagram page, Duke star Zion Williamson will officially enter his name into this year’s NBA Draft.

For weeks now, NBA fans and college basketball fans alike have been on edge waiting to hear whether or not Williamson would enter the draft or try to make another run at the title next season with Duke.

The projected first-round pick averaged 22.6 points, 8.9 rebounds, and 2.1 assist while sporting a Blue Devils’ jersey.


Duke finally announces how serious Zion Williamson’s injury is

According to multiple reports, Zion Williamson has officially suffered a Grade 1 knee sprain. The injury is day-to-day and is the best outcome Duke could have hoped for in this circumstance. Williamson suffered the injury during a regular season game versus UNC earlier this week. The team also announced that Williamson’s return will be based on how his healing processes goes.
